Pole Mokotowskie is a vast park complex located close to the city centre and Pole Mokotowskie metro station. It borders three disrticts: Srodmiescie, Mokotow and Ochota. The park is one of the favourite recreation areas for Varsovians who want to take some rest from the city's bustle. It features asphalt lanes, benches, a pond as well as a few pubs.

Skaryszewski Park is a historical landscape park, which is located on the former river bed. This oasis of peace and quiet is rich in fauna and flora. It also features numerous monuments, sculptures, memorials, the lake and a historical chapel. The facilities include tennis courts, children playground, a concert bowl, sports club and a caffee.

Apart from the natural beauty, the Olszynka Grochowska nature reserve also has a historical value, because on the site of today's nature reserve took place fierce fights of the 1830 National Uprising. The reserve's fauna and flora is rich and varied. There are no signposted tourist routes, apart form the centrally located walking and cycling trail, which runs along Podhalanska St. connecting Goclawek district with Wygoda district. The reserve features the monument commemorating the freedom fighters perished during the Uprising.

The Warsaw Zoological Garden, known simply as the Warsaw Zoo (Polish: Warszawskie Zoo), is a scientific zoo on Ratuszowa Street in Warsaw, Poland. The zoo covers about 40 hectares (99 acres) in central Warsaw, and sees 600,000 visitors annually. It is home to over 4,000 animals representing more than 500 species. The zoo is an accredited member of the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria (EAZA) and the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA).

Bielanski Forest nature reserve (rezerwat przyrody Las Bielanski) is the remaining part of the Mazowiecka Primeval Forest. It is connected with Kampinoski Forest. The forest is home to rich fauna and flora such as wild boars, deer, foxes, rabbits, martens and squirrels as well as 40 species of birds. Within the forest there are three cycling and walking trails. Beyond the signposted cycling paths, cycling is forbidden.

 Nature reserve Kabacki Forest Situated at end of metro line (Kabaty station). It is an interesting place for long walks on nice days. It is the biggest nature reserve in Mazovia.
